Michael Foreman
Michael Foreman was born in a
fishing village in Suffolk in 1938. At the age of fifteen, he began to study
art and his first children’s book was published while he was still a student.
Since then, he has illustrated more than thirty of his own books and over a
hundred by other authors.
Today, Michael is internationally known and is one of Britain’s most celebrated artists. He has illustrated numerous children’s picture books and won several major awards.
Michael is married with three sons, and divides his time between London and Cornwall.
