Piers Harper
Piers Harper graduated from
Sheffield University with a degree in Ancient History and Classical
Civilizations. He now lives in Cumbria in the north of England, and has a
studio overlooking fields full of sheep and a view of mountains.
He has always loved drawing, and began illustrating in 1991 with three children’s books for All Books for Children. He then started to write and illustrate for Walker Books.
The Snow Bear gave Piers the opportunity to experiment with painting using dilute watercolour paints and then enlarging his work on computer, and airbrushing.
