Author / Illustrator Profile
Terry has been writing on and off since he was 17, and is a published poet. He admits to dressing fairly badly most of the time, loves dogs, and enjoys writing more than just about anything. Stuck in Neutral is Terry’s first novel, and won the 2001 American Prinz Honor Book Award for “excellence in literature for young adults”. He has been told that his book “gives a voice” to his son whose name is Sheehan, and who, like Shawn in the book, was born with cerebral palsy. Shortlisted Title |
